Learn to Dive Today!

The eLearning program for SCUBA DIVING is an INFORMATIVE, FUN way to learn how to SCUBA DIVE . Your certification will allow you to participate and enjoy the many diving adventures worldwide. Some of the educational outcomes will enable you plan and conduct your own dives, rent or purchase scuba diving equipment, and travel worldwide. You will also have the opportunities to advance your skills by taking continuing educational courses such as Navigation, Deep Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, U/W (Underwater) Photography or Videography, and many more.

The EASY online eLearning approach to SCUBA diving is an excellent way to begin your leisure independent study of SCUBA diving.

Kona Honu Divers eLearning 3 day program provides you with in-water practice to develop the necessary skills required to complete your next four open water dives safely over two days. Diving is FUN and EASY once you have mastered the basic skills. Remember, it is FUN, EASY, and a LIFE LONG ACTIVITY.

Prerequisite:

	Minimum age 10.
	Must complete the on-line eLearning program prior to arrival.
	Must have medical release signed by your physician if needed.

Equipment not included:
Mask, fins and snorkel. These can be purchased at the dive shop at a 20% discount. All other equipment will be provided to complete the training.

Costs

Certification process:

	$625.00 plus TAX (Private lesson)
	$425.00/per person for 1 or 2 students (family & friends rate) plus TAX
	$325.00/per person for 3 or more students (family & friends rate) plus TAX

Cost: SSI on-line eLearning FREE!

	$120.00 paid to PADI for on-line eLearning

eLearning educational materials consist of: (a must purchase from our dive shop) Manual, Log Book and Recreational Dive Planner (RDP)

How to Get Started!

To register for the eLearning program, click on the eLearning icon for either PADI or SSI create a PADI On-Line account or SSI On-Line account page and follow the EASY instructions. It’s EASY!

What You Need to Know:

You must download one of the medical questionnaires below from either PADI or SSI and respond honestly to the questions. If you answer any questions with a YES, you must have a medical doctor complete the medical release before the you begin to dive.

All Referrals MUST check in at the dive shop 24hrs BEFORE their first scheduled dive date.

Arrival at Kona Honu Divers:

Upon your arrival in Kona, check in at the dive shop. You are now eligible to purchase your Mask, Fins and Snorkel at a 20% student discount. You will also be eligible to purchase SCUBA equipment at a 20% discount after completion of your certification.

You will also receive a free gift of a $20.00 value (after completion of your class), plus $5.00 off of any additional dives with Kona Honu Divers.

Schedule:
Classes begin on Mondays
1st day 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

	Complete registration by submitting your PADI Medical Form or SSI Medical Form and consult with your physician if you had answered any medical question with a YES.
	Complete any and all liability waivers required by Kona Honu Divers, Inc.
	Submit your eLearning record form from PADI and SSI.
	Complete the “Quick Review” questions then remediate if necessary.
	Complete Watermanship assessments in the pool.
	Complete confined water skills 1-5.

2nd day 8:00 AM to completion (Boat or Shore dives)

	Complete Open Water dives 1 and 2.
	Log dives in log book.

3rd day 8:00 AM to completion (Boat or Shore dives)

	Complete Open Water dives 3 and 4.
	Log dives in log book.

Return to dive shop and complete certification papers.
