Our newest boat, the "Honu Iki" provides our guests with a special treat when they go out on the Manta Ray Night Dive charter. She is equipped with underwater LEDs that shine a brilliant blue light off of her stern. The light attracts plankton and the mantas love to swim in graceful circles while they feed on the plankton to the delight of all aboard.

Hey Kona Honu Divers!
I just got back from my trip to the Big Island, and I am still re-living the amazing Manta Ray Night Dive that my brother, my 70 year-old Dad and myself did on May 6! The crew on the boat was fantastic, and even though I had a badly sprained ankle, I was determined to see those beautiful rays, and they helped in every way to get me in and out of the water as pain-free as possible. I really appreciated it, and will remember that dive always!!! It was definitely one of the major highlights of my life, and my Dad and brother felt the same way. I will be recommending Kona Honu Divers and your Manta Ray dive to everyone I know!
I've posted my two videos that I took on YouTube, if you want to check them out. I can't wait to get the full DVD of it!!!!
Click for YouTube video.
Thanks so much for that amazing and special experience!!!
