Manta Ray Night Dive video clip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0kH_QqvH9s

Just wanted to share a short video I took diving with Manta Rays in Kona, Hawaii, on honeymoon a couple of weeks ago. We were pretty lucky - 50 minutes of continuous feeding-frenzy all around us, 16 named manta rays ID-ed (our DM knew 180 by their markings, wrote the names on his slate, and showed us them in his photo directory when we got back on the boat).

It was a little surgy (depth was only 32 ft) so hard to operate my camera and hold a flashlight to attract plankton, but very pleasant 78F temps. I did a 2 tank package with "Kona Honu Divers" on the Big Island and a 2 tank package with "Prodiver" on Maui to Molokini Crater. Both companies were recommended to me by members of the list after I put out a request for information and I'd endorse both companies for divers going to those locations in the future.
