morning scuba boat trip

We invite you to spend a beautiful morning in Kona scuba diving Hawaii's pristine waters. Here you may see endemic tropical fish, view the formations made by old lava flows, observe green sea turtles, spot the hard to find octopus, and dive alongside many more wonderful marine creatures.  You will frequently see dolphins as they escort the boat leaving the harbor.  During the winter months humpback whales are spotted during your surface interval and you may even hear them sing underwater.

Dive Requirements

  • Divers are required to bring their certification card (no c-card = no diving)

  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
  •  Junior Open Water Divers are welcome to join on the dive, but ages 10-11 are required to have a private guide.  Divers ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian OR a private guide.
  • Sign the electronic waiver, from the confirmation email, and bring certification card to the boat.

Why or when would a private guide benefit me?

  • A private guide is needed when you have a Junior Open Water that is 10-11 years of age.  Why?  Their depth restriction and their safety.
  • A private guide is needed when you are a PADI Scuba Diver.  What is a PADI Scuba Diver?  When you have only completed the first two open water dives of the open water certification.  Why?  Due to the depth restriction.
  • When you have equalization issues, i.e., take extra time to descend.
  • When you are anxious, nervous, or when you just want more personalized one on one attention.
  • When you want to go slow and photograph all the critters.
  • When you have a group of more than 6 divers and want to dive together.
