The manta ray night dive and snorkel is an exhilarating experience that is unique to the Kona Coast and one of the top night dives and snorkels in the world. You will board the Honu One at the Honokohau Harbor and cruise north along the coast up to Garden Eel Cove in Makako Bay.  Depending upon the charter you chose you may enjoy a late afternoon dive or snorkel before sunset. Everyone will get to enjoy a Kona sunset before having an educational briefing on the manta rays.  After nightfall, you will enter the water in the hopes to see these gentle giants perform their graceful underwater ballet.  Your water time will be 60 minutes.  We see these magnificent creatures 60% of the time.  If there are no mantas we enjoy an epic night reef dive.

Free Manta Guarantee

Please note that the Manta Rays are wild animals and we cannot guarantee their presence. If you do not see a manta on your night out, you can go again on another night on a space available standby basis.  Keep in mind that standby spaces may be extremely limited, especially during the busiest times of the year.  This offer never expires, but is nontransferable and has no refund or cash value.  We are typically very successful in finding mantas for you; however, if they are not around, the costs involved with setting up the dive and getting all our guests to the location will not allow for us to offer you a refund.
Cancellation Policy

Please be informed of our 48-hour cancellation policy.

You may make changes or cancellations to your reservations up to 48 hours prior to the trip without penalty. Afterwards, all changes, cancellations, or no-shows will not be issued a refund unless the space is filled by another diver. If we are able to fill the space a full refund will be issued.  If we are unable to fill the space we cannot issue a refund. The only exception to this policy will be if we receive a medical note from a local doctor for a treatment/exam which must have taken place within 48 hours of the check-in time of the missed dive. This does not waive the companion diver or snorkeler.
