Sandy Hammel

#Black water duchess
PADI SCUBA Instructor

After deciding that shredding the Rocky mountain slopes and lakes was not extreme enough. Sandy hung up her boards and moved to the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. As a little girl Sandy always dreamt about swimming with colorful reef fish. Her love and compassion for the ocean has brought her to Kona Honu Divers and has inspired her to further influence other divers and snorkelers alike with her spirit of aloha. As a PADI scuba instructor Sandy loves to teach and guide private students through Kona's reefscape. As a blackwater dive guide Sandy loves the thrill of discovering new ocean life in the open unkown

When she's not blowing bubbles Sandy loves to freedive with large animals and explore kona's reefs in her long fins as a certified freediver
